Search The Site
From this page you can search the
whole of the Trakbytes website for anything you want.
Simply type your text into the box
below and hit "Find" and the relevant pages will be displayed.
It works just like a regular search
engine so remember the following rules;
-
The search will turn up results for
all the keywords you enter. So if you type Dennis Priddle it will show pages
with the name "Dennis Priddle" as well as any pages with the word Dennis
separately, i.e. Dennis Jenkinson or Dennis Stone. To overcome this put the
name in quotation marks like this; "Dennis Priddle"
-
There are hundreds of names on Trakbytes
and they are not all listed in full. For example if you are looking for your
uncle Fred Smith who once won an eliminator at Santa Pod in the sixties try
searching for "F. Smith" or just "Smith" if "Fred Smith" does not turn up
any results.
-
The search seems to turn up more
results if you use the search box on this page, rather than the ones that
appear on the results page. I don't know why this is. So always come back
to this page when you start a new search.
-
When a search result takes you to
one of the History Archive pages, e.g. 1970 - 1974, you will still have to
search that page for the name you want.
One other thing. I'm sorry about
the adverts that appear on the results pages. This utility is provided 'free'
so this is the price you have to pay. It seems to work well though so I'm
sticking with it for now.
